Im new to skinning, but every time I make a skin it either has no affect, wont display and I get white, or it comes out in a glitchy bright orange colour. How come my skins are having no affect? I am using photoshop to edit the original skin, I thought maybe I need to start fresh. So I got a pic of just white instead of a skin, but it didnt work. Could somebody please tell me what im doing wrong?

Are you saving your work? That's the only thing that I can think of. Or you're not saving the file as 'tank01.jpg'

What did you save as.jpg? The template or the skin?

P.S. Would be better if you showed screenshots

If worst comes to worst, just copy and paste it into Paint or GIMPand save it as a.jpg from there if you're really having troubles.
