Uhmm! To my knowledge the game actually runs on 5K
As a player need only upload instructions I don't think this would be an issue
A hoster with insufficient upload speed would serve a jerky and unwielding game
(although he might see things just fine from his end)
My thoughts?
It has more to do with
1 hardware between you and the master server
2 path to and from (physical distance and # of transfers)
3 If you have a home network is any other computer being used for file-sharing or web-hosting
4 Total network traffic on the internet when you play (peak hours?)
5 what is the average ping in the server (the highest or worst connect will somewhat efffect others)
6 Overall pc capability and performance

Everytime I went head to head I lost so.....
I did some tests after playing on a faster computer. I placed the lappy next to the slower desktop(half speed)
And simutaneously fired full clips. After 3 to 4 clips the faster machine was ahead of the slower!
Why? Reload time!
The fire rate is built into the game but the reload time is a computer performance related issue
