Season 2 of Team Battle mode league (TBML) is due to start, we are looking for people who like the team battle mode aspect of the game and enjoy the fun of the competition.

Next Season of TBML will be ten weeks long with a session of pre-season games and a playoff round to confer bragging rights and a place in the hall of fame for the winners.Play will likely occur on a weeknight so as to give all the opportunity to play without sacrificing any weekend travel/leisure activities.

Recruiting is open for the next 2 weeks, everyone is welcome to apply, teams will be drafted and the league will be set in gear after that.

Rules have been created for fair play and all must agree to the rules in order to particapate.

Deadline for league application is 06 March 2004

We are looking for all types of players, new and veterans.As the teams will be comprised fairly to give equal opportunity to all to particapate and to perhaps win the vaunted toaster oven trophy.

Finally we are also looking for people who can fill the role of team leaders.

ALSO, of great importance, can we have BTML on Saturday? The reason I could not regularly attend last season was because it was on sunday. If you change that for me I would be MUCH obliged.

Team Names should be somewhat themed after the game. You don't want to be called the "Astroids" or the "Flakers". You can be "Team PowerUp" or something. Yeah it does sound a bit lame. Maybe all Team Captains should get to vote on what name their teams should be after the team has been made? Check out the New Team Logo below.

OK, I'm finally intrigued. Seeing this thread pop up to the top of the forums time and time again has had that type of subliminal affect on me, getting me to think about it.

I have questions: Is this definite that the games will be on Tuesday's at 9 PM EST? How will the teams be comprised, (in general terms), such as how many players on each team, etc.?

I just need to know before I try to sign up. Thanks

Teams have one captain, handles all the "paperwork". Teams will have six-seven players last I was notified. Five players from each team will play in a game, subbing out and alternating each game. The game time of 9 EST Tuesday's is definite. The draft procedure will resemble the draft used for Psycho 4, so that no stacked teams occur.

Can I be on a reserve list?? Can't say I will be here every Tue. But I will try. Is there a reserve list? I would sign up but can't commit to every week. Let me know. If I'm here at game time I would be a good addition to a team.

MOE, you should just sign up, because as I was told, teams would be comprised of 6-7 players and only 5 will play at a time. So that will allow for absences/rotation if you can't play. But maybe check with LC or Lep about that.
