Wow That would be cool to put in a mod. Everyone is a car, and they race with ramps, and barrles. Whoa..... That would be cool.

Right now we are working on ThinkTanks XBOX for the xbox live arcade. After that we hope to be able to roll some of the changes into ThinkTanks 2.

^ Since ya brought it up… :) I've been wondering about that. If your at liberty to answer…

When users play ThinkTanks thru Xbox Arcade are they gonna be able to see the same servers that we see? Or will it be completely seperated?

Well, if TT goes to the Xbox, I would think BT is going to make some serious cash! And that's a good thing since it gives them a bit of room to relax and create.

Of course, I can bet it will give rise to a class division. Something along the lines of..."Hey punk! I was playing TT on a PC way before you came along with your multi-button controller and fancy green game console. We just used the arrow keys and a mouse and we liked it!"

Yeah… I dunno how well that's gonna work out on a controller. I'm all for the arrows and mouse. I can't see myself liking using two joysticks w/ each thumb and a trigger.

We'll see though.

I sense an Xbox purchase in my future :). Although, one of my friend has tried using Xbox live and has limited success. He has dsl, but has found much of the gameplay to be laggy. He tried Madden & Star Wars, and had probs with each. I think the problem might have been with other's servers...

Might the Xbox exascerbate(sp?) the lag problem?

The controller part of the xbox build is still.. Uh., well.. We are still trying things. It is a pain, and we have not settled on a scheme yet. The game itself looks great on the xbox.. Now back to it (damn dual sticks)..

Wow, I can imagine... :P ThinkTanks being played by a thousand times more players than now, on all continents, worldwide. Tournaments being held, with cars, yachts and even mansions in the prize pot.

Also, talk about competition! When all those Counter Strike (insert any other big fps game here) players get bored and changes their choice in favorite game, into ThinkTanks...

We will become veterans grandiose and heroes. We might even become world famous! Who knows? Only thing I know, is that I'll stick to this game as far in the future as my eyes can perceive.

If only Micro$oft were smart enough to implement support for a mouse controller (they haven't, right?)...

...cause I agree with LilAlienD, I can't see a better alternative than the good old mouse / keyboard combination for this game (or other FPS or 3rd person shooters either).

Heh, and to think I had a keyboard and mouse to play Unreal Tournament on my Dreamcast! It even had true VGA support. Are game systems moving forwards or backwards these days?

Good point, James Bomb. I'd hereby like to also wish for a Commodore 64 version of ThinkTanks. None of the new consoles will probably, ever, come close to the power of the C64.

I say, TT2 must go before content packs... Unless the packs are for TT...
