Ever witness odd things in TT? What are some of the weirdest things you've seen?

What are some of the strangest or most unusual things you have seen/experienced in TT?

For example, while it might not be weird, I just find it strange that Bots almost always go out of their way to get health power ups even when they don't need them! Usually when you are smoking like a big dog and need it in the worst way while carrying the scrum and heading near the goal and someone like Sizicus right on your heals!

I recently saw PREY going in for an easy score after picking up a classic freebie in scrum and then all of a sudden the goal and flag just disappeared!! We all just stopped and scratched our heads and said, "WTF!"

I recently jumped from the top of a hill into the goal on top of a pile of tanks including the one carrying the flag and got credit for the goal!

One of the most unusual things I ever saw was 44 going scoreless! I almost saw it with Jangles one game, but he managed to score one just before time ran out!

Once and only once, I saw Tankgirl get robbed of a goal by a demo! I think she didn't see him there camping and was backing in as she does...

Well there is allways the disappearing scrum on Freudian flats. Ya know next to the small mesa with rocks on it.

ONe game I landed on some other players when I had the scrum, and my tank leaned in so the scrum was all the way in the goal but my tank wasn't and I never scored because I soon was shot and killed

My favorites are jump pads. Jumping directly on top of a tree, or one time I face planted onto a rock.

Lastly in medulla mesa, hitting the boost pad that goes up the hill, and one time I hit the jump pad on the other side. Wetn clear out to the islands with my scrum and dove into the fog

I've always thought it a bit spooky to see my own dead carcass after a respawn. The other day in Medula Mesa I respawned in the revine after having been killed while going over an arrow with the scrum. I saw my dead carcass and the scrum go flying through the air a few feet in front of me. It seemed a bit surreal at that moment.

I think we've all seen tanks get half buried in the ground, especially after a wild dive off a bounce pad... But I saw a tank go below some rocks one night. All I could see was his tank name above ground. That was very odd.

The best strangest thing is the ol' Island Hopping. Remember the spike on Cranium Crater?

Ya...in solo mode a boss grabbed a powerup. Also a ufo once flew at me upside down and started going through the ground :P

Ever get the weird feeling that one of the bots you are playing is not really a bot?

Every once in a while, after I steal a goal from a bot and score, long after scoring that same bot will continue to shoot me and appears to be doing it out of spite and anger! It's almost as if it were hunting me down for vengeance!

Then again...there are weird players out there who enjoy pretending to be bots, for whatever reason.

A classic moment in Think Tank's history occurred during a team scrum game on Medulla Mesa.

A viscious battle between notorious players of the like of 56K Lag Man, -z-, Mars, Jangles, Baba, Sniper and mudda and a 1/2. After a score the scrum bounced and bounced and bounced again, finally landing square on top of the ammo dump. Resting there and setting of the dumps's electrical charge.

The tanks gathered around in shock and awe.

We knew we were a witness to a momentous occasion.

Generations later the tale is still re-told by the surviving grizzled vets to young tankers gathered around the campfire.

Here's another rarity.... I actually witnessed TG play an entire game where she did not berate her computer or Internet connection!

Yup! It happened, folks!

It also came up with a swear word in place of angry. XD :o X/

I flew through an area effect explosion today. It made my tank shudder as if I hit air turbulence during my flight. It made me laugh.

Yeah when it does that and it kills you in mid air sometimes it slams your brain into the ground and it bounces!!
