I just played a scrum game with 44 and IO and they witnessed what I consider the best goal ever scored by a bot!
It was scored by my teammate, MAL [Bot]... The underrated scrummer who has always been over-shadowed by the much more popular Ri [Bot].
Well, Mal grabbed the scrum and while still smoking, headed for the goal with IO and 44 chasing him down. I was too far away to help so I could only watch and wait for the inevitable killing of my Bot teammate but much to all of our surprise he scored by using that jump pad on Medulla Mesa and leaped over the large rocks and did a full twist into the goal! It looked so planned too! I had to look carefully at his brain to make sure it was indeed a real bot! Indeed it was.... I could only type, "That ain't natural!".... And "just had an I, Robot moment!"

Anyone ever witness over great goals by bots?

Hum scored on me the other day. Yes, Hum. And I wasn't alone. There were 3-4 other players all running around the goal too, although I can't remember who they were. It's not like Hum is capable of camping. He drove it in. And we don't have the excuse that it was a freebie either, with no one else nearby. Hum won it after a goal-line scrum. *oh the shame*

I've played against bots by myself in Indie scrum many times, and every so often, a bot will actually steal the scrum from me at the last moment near the goal and score. Gah!! I've been robbed by a friggin' bot! It's a little freaky, and frustrating, because you have no-one to yell at. LOL! %)

Best I've seen was Pestilence [Bot] taking an arrow pad with the scrum towards both the goal and myself where I had just respawned. I then figured I'd just wait for him to come a bit closer, drive into him and reverse back into the goal, but no.. What happens, he shimmies left then swerves right, passes off the scrum to Death [Bot] and continues onward to block my path. Death [Bot] circles back in the opposite direction and slides into the goal.

I almost began to wonder what sort of a monster I had unleashed...

I don't know if this is common behavior but I saw a bot do a stationary 180 and proceed to a goal very near. It seemed unusual at the time as I was expecting him to drive off the cliff while attempting to get to the goal.

Hey, sometimes I can swear that the bots get some kind of sick thrill from shooting me to death right after I score a goal on them.
What do you call that when someone finishes you off just because you scored and they are frustrated? A revenge kill? Anyway, it sure seems like the bots do that sometimes....

The best I've seen was when Ri [Bot] did a perfectly executed Tank-Dive in Cranium Crater!

Huh... Then Bot's r not just a waste of balualbe hardware? :P

Haven't seen any bot do anything exiting exept the time when Ri Bot was executing all sort of nice moves! And scored!! All I could say was: STUNT RI BOT! XD

I'd love to see Gul [bot] do anything amazing :P me and that bot get along with each other real well :P

Best I've seen was when the bosstank (called Leeds [Bot]) had the scrum and was heading for me (away from the goal) and friggin' shooting me to death! And when I tried to steal the scrum, it fell off his head and back on it, then he thought "frig it!", went through a lighttankchanger, and scored a frigging goal when I went througn the SuperTank Changer, and believe me, that SuperTank goes at high speed! I think they like blowing me up (lucky I was an unkillable AdminTank!)

As bots continue to get smarter and more agressive, we've all seen more and more incredible things they've done out there.
Just today I saw a bot stop short while approaching the goal shoot the camper and then scored! I double-checked the brain to ensure that it was indeed a bot.

I see more bots going out of their way for launch pads that propel them into the goal too!!!

Play on Roosters new TS mod ! The ones in there I have seen do it all,just ask Nuts he has seen what I have seen in there! Can you say " OMG THEIR ALIVE ! " B)

The best stuff I've seen are from Dash's bots… in air goals, awesome steals and runs thru a whole feild of players, deadly aim… yes… the bots are getting smarter and smarter every day. Should we worry about the future??

Maybe I shouldn't be reading this thread while watching iRobot :)

Iv seen bots go through a field of 18 players and when it came out it wasnt even smoking!
also on Cranium Crater, when I have the scrum, bots like to jump off that middle hill and bump me to get the scrum and when they do they do circles around the level and kill any1 they see and once they do that they go for the goal and score!
its amazing what bots can do %)

The best thing I've seen is Hum [Bot] go around the goal with DEMO (jake) and rorshak right behind him and score a goal backside

Well the best thing that I saw a bot do to score a goal was in BerthaCampaDiva's mod (the mod that had tons of speed boosts and that it was hypothalamus hills).:

I was chasing Ri IBotI for the scrum, when something very interesting happened! I thought this will be such a easy steal since IBotsI have no sence of dodging shots. When I was about to snatch the scrum Ri IBotI went into that speed boost near the scrum. I thought Ri IBotI didn't have any chance at all! :S But Ri did it! That was he best manuver I have ever seen in scrum! XD

I shouted to my fellow mates that this will godown in history! Oh and I have witnesses too. BerthaCampaDiva saw it too. (I hope :S )
