I do... You can't "have" babies in sims 2 you can adopt after you get married with sum1 it may take a while but sum1 will call and ask if you wood like to adopt
here are sum sugestions
- get married... With sum1 of the oposite sex mind you o.O
- try to get yer love birds to wear their formal clothing between
7:34 PM and 2:17 Am (thats when the adopters mostly called)
-try kissing for hours
-must not have "woohoo in bed" for 3 days on the 3rd day stick it
to yer wife
thats all the stuff thats helped and I've herd from other ppl....
but Sims1 you can have babies

You can have babies in Sims 2. Just let your two sims both lay on the bed, then click on the other sim (the one you didn't select) and click "Try to make a babie".
