Bomber's mods seem to be great for that. It's almost made so demo players can play! :)
But how long is the download? And BTW, do ye want me to e-mail you the newer CG mod? I did everything you said.

You guys do know that Brave Tree doesn't want demos on mods? Thats why my mods are always team games.

Oh, sorry, I forgot... XD But bomber's mod is perfect for demos, they always go there. Maybe we should notify bomber?
@ repent- do you know why they don't want them there? Because the long DL time makes it look bad. Or there could be something I am missing...

It's more than that, mods are extra they want you to buy the game before you can play the mods. It should be a incentive to buy the game, and I think thats what we all want in the long run. :)

Well, if it doesn't have any codes or special weps or anything, technically it is just like SW maps. We wouldn't even chage the map much. Just add a couple more objects. It could say when they enter "type "/learn" or something and then writing appears on the basics and advantages of buying TT and joining PTT. I think this would be very benificial.

Does TT allow demo's to play team games?? And I'm not asking they are. Bravetree said they would not offer any game support to use if we did not do as they asked. Keep in mind this is their game they can pull the plug on modding any time they want. Modding is a violation of the end game agreement that you said you understood, they could revoke your registration key if they wanted to. They have never asked much of use this is the least we can do for them. We have been allowed to mod this game so far, it would be a shame to lose it over something so simple as putting the mods up in Team play. Come on why do you think Leopard's Lair has been Team Battle mode for all these years?

A simple TankData::OnAdd MOD can be used to kick Demos when they enter your server...
Just do a simple substring check on their nick for DEMO (as demo's nicks are DEMO (**) )
If it returns true just delete the client with a message sayin they aint allowed!
There was a thread about this awile ago and I havn't put up my mod since. Art Crazy some demos have figured out how to take the DEMO (**) out of thier name. You know they're a demo when they leave and come back.

Bomber, if a demo enters a mod the DEMO () will not be shown, you will see only the name (HERE) as the demo's name.

Hey, wouldn't it be cool if someone made a mod that shows demo's the extent of tt's power. Make it , like, a 30 second download, and have basic weps, but use MW to cagne the objects around. Kinda like repents mountains. Without the lasers, nukes and all. Must be an "under 1 min" download time though.
