I have seen many of the threads that talk about replacing the g1 sound file for the Lush mission file with another. That is not what I'm interested in.
I can see where the the Lush
"//--- OBJECT WRITE BEGIN ---
new SimGroup(MissionGroup) {
musicTrack = "Lush";"
What I'm looking for is where is thi lush music refrenced from. I want to redirect the music to a different file all together.

Please don't post information if it is not a soulution.

Does anybody know where to redirect the lush music track to a specidic file. Where does the lush reference get rediredted to the g1 file?

Navigate to your music.cs.dso...you will see a line like this:

I'm guessing the Lush part in reference with the parts before it make the music track name and the sound files after it make what it plays.

Max, I'm a bit lost with these instructions. They refer to scriptsaudioProfiles.cs but I see scriptsaudioProfiles.cs.dso files. They also don't specify if their is in the client or server scripts folder. I don't suppose you would have an example of the audioProfiles.cs and where it should be located? I'm guessing here, but shouldn't there be a way to just redirect the g1 file to a different file in the sounds folder?
Or is there additional information needed, and a reference in the main.cs to load the sound file?

Thx

I would imagine the music would be both client side (Quick Game) and server sided.
I did not really read those links closely enough to tell if the answer was there or just information.

I guess I was thinking that you would have to make a.cs file of some sort that was executed from the main.cs or create a replacement for the music.cs.dso

Have you seen this?
ThinkTanks music pack Volume 1!

Maybe this is a job for ScriptLine...

Script Line?
What is in the music.cs file and can it be rewritten, so more music files can be added to: g1, g2, g3, r1, r3, b1, b3...?
Not just replace the files but add more g4, g5, r4, r5 etc.

I read somewhere that own sounds download VERY long... I can't remember but I think it was 4 mins/sound or some size of sound... 8(

And I tried to enter mod that downloads sound for me, I left the load becouse I thought download bar was freeze.
It is really slow!

No Max I did not. I will check it out though.

@Boo
This should not be an issue because there is an expansion pack and a Mod_Pack which will be available for pre-download to minnimixe the waiting for files do download. The in game download is nice but really slow for some reason.
Not a good option for anything more than 1mb.

@ Boo - Also for gods sake please just read THE NEW MODDING RESOURCE

If you had you would have come across two versions of the Never Stopping Download Bar. Which will let you see the filename and filesize when you're downloading something.

I've been researching this for a bit and we (me and nap) are getting somewhere here, maybe we'll have a new script soon in ScriptLine (maybe not a script but sort of a tuturial :) )

EDIT: Well I cant seem to read enough.dso ;) so its not working, but I found out how to make new audio datablocks :)
