Page : <1> :

Hello kiddies. I retired from PTT a couple months ago but came back today only because a friend told me about the hideous accusations that were made against me in the silly conspiracy thread about Tankgirl. Some of my fellow veterans started and ran with some silly theory that I, Paisano, was actually TankGirl! I promise all of you that this is insane and not true. 56klag has already said that it's extremely unlikely because our IP addresses have been posted within seconds of each other on this forum and from two different cities (me in Georgia and TG in NYC). Also, many eye-witnesses have played with and against both of us in the same games countless times. Also, Napalm and other server admins can easily identify our IP addresses and aliases from games where we played at the same time.

Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. I know people will believe what they want to believe. I know you can't change anyone's opinion of you and that some people just don't like other people for no good reasons at all. I'm too sensitive so it always bothered me that there are some players in TT who just don't like the Paisano. One particular person who's name shall remain nameless started hating me and calling me names such as Whiner because I used to complain about uneven teams and he didn't like it one bit.

The other ugly and false rumor this person started was the notion that I left/quit games only because my team was losing. First, my teams win most of the time and I have left games early with my team winning many more times than when behind! It's all so idiotic that it makes me want to scream. I do want to explain why I can't seem to ever stick around for a complete game (I've shared this secret before on here and with select friends that truly like me and wanted to know why I can't play too long). In a nutshell, it all involves a wife who has had several health issues and three children who have also had problems of some sort that prevented them from sleeping thru the night. That all meant that I had to drop whatever I was doing (including TT no matter what the score). I used to leave my tank in the game hoping I could get back to it right away but most of the time I couldn't and that meant leaving one team with an idle tank until an admin booted me.
Now, I will admit that I have left some games in the past strictly because the teams were so totally unbalanced and none of the other vets were willing to switch up to make it even (which is when the rumor started along with the whiner tag).
Fortunately, most vets are good sports who believe in fair games. After all, doesn't everyone want competitive games?
I guess not, there are some players who merely want to win no matter what the cost or how unfair the teams are.
I don't enjoy blowouts no matter which side I am on. I rather have a close game win or lose.

I will also make another confession. I have lost my temper on ocassion and I have apologized for that behavior and have not lost my cool in many many months. Still, some people are not willing to forgive and forget. Most have though and I am grateful for that. I have worked on anger management and it has made a tremendous difference in my life, not just in our silly little game. I've learned to put things in perspective thanks to the lessons learned on here and in TT.

Here's a photo of what's most important to me in life.
[img=http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/6599/3kids1zb.th.jpg]

My three kids that I love and adore. Nicholas will be 7 soon, Matthew just turned 3 and Rachel was born just 5 months ago! She has totally changed me for the better. I am embarrassed when I think of my behavior with some of you and I know I will never act that way again. I know it's too late to start over again with some of you, but I think most of you like me and respect my game. I will just try to be a better person in and out of the game.

P.s. Please don't bother ripping me again here. I will not come back to read anything on ptt. I just wanted to explain things once more for those that care. Also, I want to apologize one last time to those of you that I've annoyed, irritated and insulted in any way shape or form. I promise to never do so again.

I don't even know you, but I know you don't like me playing games with you. All I have to say is, "If you can't back up your accusation, don't make it."

If you believe this, I've got a bridge I'd like to sell you. XD

Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to be on my toes.

Invite a retard to a picnic and you'd better expect to get drool in the potato salad.

Wow - nice bridge Rouge, I am sure you will get a buyer, however I am currently out of the bridge market at the moment. However I will trade you for a large bag of red dirt, a carton of beer and a pizza. XD

Thanks Pai for this.

I hope this all works out for you and all implicated in this. I have always considered you a worthy opponent in game and a solid team player when we played together. I also leave games in a flash because of my wife and other real life stuff, sorry if this offends some.

This whole thing has gone too far and many things are unclear, half truths, part lie etc...Lets move on and not loose sight of the fun in this: the game.

But please no one misunderstand me, I am in no way shape or form in agreement with brash lieing and or misleading statements about the true identity of a person when compared to his online persona. Also everyone has to be given a second chance. (Ps I never played nor crossed paths with TG so I have no experience with her/it/?)

Paisano I hope you are back for good, we still have some good games ahead of us to be played ;)

Ok, here's my take on the deal, and I'll tell you what I think is possible.

First off, I have played in games with Pai and TG at the same time, not just one or two. We have played many.
Pai and TG have completely different styles. In my honest opinion there are some similarities to their games but I think Pai is the better all-around-player out of the two. Pai can fly and hit some extremely hard goals I don't believe TG can.

In some of the email bouncing back and forth, someone said there was no way Pai and Demolition would spank Nappy and TG. Actually this is true. TG and I were playing Pai and Demolition in a few games and yes, it was highly frustrating. We were simply being toyed with. Pai and Demolition were able to strip of the scrum pretty much whenever they wanted to. As Pai has stated in email, I was new to scrum at that time, maybe not in regards to being in the community but mt scrumming skills were still in their beginning stages. Plain-and-simple, we simply got our asses kicked. They were great games though, I still have vivid memories of those games.

Regarding the meld of Pai and TG. I have looked at all of my information and have no indications that Pai is TG, or TG is Pai.
Both IP's are separate from one another, and I have no common names or alias's that link either of them together. That says something because Pai has about 40 alias's and TG had around 10.

Can someone play and post as 2 people at the same time?

Could Pai and TG be one person and make it appear they are two?

Both of those answer are yes.

I can easily be in one location, remote control another machine in another part of the country and post from both locations using different accounts and vastly different IP addresses. Piece-of-cake.

Two players? One person playing two computers would be highly unlikely, It would be quit noticeable that one tank would fall out of the play or stop shooting around the goal. That team mate would be wondering why there's no support.

The only conceivable way in my opinion, would be to have someone sit in and play for the second player. Again, pretty unlikely, but could be done.

If anyone wants to dispel this altogether, we can simply have a telephone conference, or a yahoo voice chat, video conference, or any other communication at the same time to prove they are in deed different people. I can even do video chat with TG while I voice chat with Pai.

Maybe I can get audio interviews for TT radio podcasts.

It's up to Pai and TG. I'm available though. Do you want to put an end to the rumors?

Gee Wiz, this is fun!

^Fun? I wish this whole thing would go away... :o

There s far, far too much time being wasted on this topic.

Moderators, feel free to reveal the geographical location that I posted this from.... Then feel free to compare the location that Pai posted from...
Then can someone tell me why this is even a topic of discussion? Good Lord.

Nappy,
I sort of remember the game with Pai and Demo and you. My reality is a bit different though, I had smoked myself into a stupor, was feeling no pain whatsoever and was laughing so hard that tears were streaming down my face. I could not tell you who won or lost, just that the whole thing seemed ridiculously funny.

Ya they beat us so badly it was kind of funny. Also a bit frustrating at the time.

TG is in N.Y. And Pai is in Georgia.

It's true tho about their games: TG was never half the player PAI is.

Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 5:53:23 PM

Let's please put an end to this. It is not fair to Pai or TG. There is now way they are the same person. They have completely different personalities. I really hope people can stop bringing this up.

Not meaning to offending, but the truth that is.
you haven't played in what, six months easy ?
redeem thyself. Strap it on.

Truth is TG is/was good. Pai is very good.

My offer stands for those who want resolve. I assumed Pai would post as he didn't have the oppertunity to voice. That has been completed.

I agree, Strap in on. You always said you didn't like the intenseness of the games but it's a feirce battlescrum game these days on some pretty radical maps. Fuel your tank, clean you gun and turn the keys. Lets Rock!

We march on.

I beg to differ:
1 on 1 Pai win (superiour shooting IMO).
In a 4-4 or 5-5, doesn't matter as much. Pai is an excellent all-round while TG is more specialized as a runner. Different play style. :) As a captain I'd take one or the other.
One of Pai's flaw is his compulsion to quit games in the middle (no attack here, just stating a fact) I'd
One of TG's advantage was that everyone used to want to see her undertank not anymore ;)
