One of my close friends in college, a dude we called Red, was in a mild coma from a car accident. He was in and out for several days. He had no other injuries. They kept him for roughly two weeks. The irony is that he died that summer in yet another car accident.

Agreed with Corey, right or wrong, better to show support since there is no reason at all for LW to manufacture this.
That said, I will join the growing chorus of those who gasp a puzzled "Huh?" regarding LW coming home so soon after a MAJOR car accident.
I have to admit that I find this fact to be very, very strange. But then again, I am not a doctor. The odd thing is though, the coma is likely caused by severe swelling of the brain due to blunt head trauma. No other injuries either? My paramedic buddy tells be that she has never seen a serious drivers side impact that didn't include multiple broken bones on the left side of the driver. Really seems odd that he is coming home already.
But then again.... Why concoct a lie?
Arghhhh, my head is gonna blow off.
I guess Mrs Lonewolf could always offer up proof by telling us the name of the town she lives in and we could look to see if there is a newsreport for that day. Or she could tell us what hospital so we can call and give him our best wishes.
Just trying to find a way to make peace in the community.

Thought I'd comment on the whole head-injury thing. I had a specialist in my company (I was XO at the time), who managed to get his head slammed while riding in the back of a HMMWV. At first it looked like he was just a bit dizzy and in pain, but then came the pukingthen the loss of consciousness. He was quickly sent out by medivac. He recovered his senses in about a day and a half. There were no broken bones are lashes. His injury was just due to the jolt of the HMMWV slamming his head against the wall. He was released 5 days later to his family with medication and directed bed-rest. Why so soon?
(1) If they don't need machines and there is family nearby to take them to a hospital if needed, then doctors find the patient recovers more quickly at home.
(2) It's cheaper for the hospital. This is not a joke. When insurance is involved (especially TriCare), it is amazing what condition they will release a patient.
(3) LoneWolf may not have suffered injuries due to chunks of his car caving into his body. The T-bone probably slammed his vehicle hard enough to the side that his head slammed the driver window/door frame. So, now broken bones, but his head sure did feel a knock.
Of course, his early projected release may be a "best-case scenario" given by the doctors to make her feel better, so lets not scrutinize it until he is actually released.

I never laughed. I just pointed out some of the obviously bogus points. Things like these have happened before on here. On a lighter note, please give spellcheck a whirl Corey. It will help give you more credibility.

Your lucky this is only online. If we crossed paths in real life under these circumstances, after your senseless remarks, you would have surely been sorry. I would beat the snot out of you, take a break for lunch, and come back to do it again till you were left laying up in a hospital bed without any word, only to have your mother to recieve a call from the police telling her "There's been an accident". Then she would have to tell your friends what has happened while they're left wondering where you are that is if you have somehow miraculously managed to make friends.
You are the epitome of the term "lowlife". Your worthless now and you'll never amount to anything better. Like all other a-hole's that make their brief apperances in my life, you'll soon be forgotten and left in the gutter with them. The friends I've made here however, will be remembered and respected forever. Something you should think about.

We all know he's a mindless buffoon, but I think the insults and so on have all been said and there is little need to let them just be fired back and forth all day and all night gaining in potency with each return.
Locking this thread and hopefully we can all let this be the end of the issue. Take it up on the battlefield if you must, but lets keep it out of the forums.
