First of all, I am on a different computer so don't say "You have to have a good internet connection to be on this site!" :(

I have a cable modem LAN connection. I was trying to use Port Forwarding to be able to host two servers. I established a static IP address. However, when I tried to connect to the Internet, IE could not open the page and there was a little warning that said "This connection has little or no connectivity."

I then tried setting the IP back to dynamic (getting an IP from my ISP or something). I tried connecting to the internet again--another failed try. Then, I went to Properties for that connection, and clicked Repair. However, I got a window that said:
"Could not complete the task:
Renewing your IP Address
Contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance."
or something like that.

Can anyone help me get my IP back and establish a connection? :[

Bad router.
