Ok, finally it would appear that this now works on Mac.

Many thanks to Slugthog for his testing various experiments in order to fix it.

ModWizard 1.3 is available from the Files: Utilities section of this site as well as full instructions.

-z-,

When I press M in-game, IN MY SERVER, it doesn't do anything. I swear, I copied these correctly!

What did I do wrong?

You must have not added (or incorrectly added) the couple of lines to the bottom of 'main.cs' in the thinktanks folder.

Hey all,

I'm totally new to the modding thing and am in need of some guide-lines to get started. I know Z is a busy man, so I thought I'd throw this out to the boards. HOW THE HELL DO I VIEW THE TT MAIN.CS file in Mac? I can't seem to access it at all except for opening the TT Game App with a program like Resorcerer, and then I don't know how to use Resorcerer to edit the files. From the directions I've read on installing the ModWizard and editing files, it all seems easy and makes sense, but I just can't even get started without being able to open the main.cs file.

I know it's gotta be something easy that I'm not seeing, so please be gentle...

Do I need a special software to even see the.cs files?

This Ass Clone needs a dumbed-down blow by blow account on how to get started on modding... If anyone has the patience, please help.

@ ACA

Open the Main.cs file with Textedit. To do so, right-click (or control-click) on the Main.cs file, then choose Open with... Go to Applications, and find Textedit. Click open.

Figured it out. On Mac you have to control click the TT App and then select "view package contents". This allows you to see the inside folders. Thanks Z for the tip.

I prefer the pos grab for a team of modders, its better for a good mod in place of an ok mod thats made by one.

-z-

Maby you can put togther some almighty modwizard that allows multiple clients in the server at one time, and you are able to see the obj once you place it, its probably impossible, I dont understand the limits of C++, read about it once, but lost my intrest.

No, because then people could use the modwizard during a game to sneakily put an arrow pad underneath them to get away from the enemy etc. It is intentionally only functional on an empty server. Everyone likes a good mod, no one likes a cheat.

Could you make it only activatable in a locked server with less than 5 people?

Tuesday, June 08, 2004 at 1:48:46 PM
-z-

Yes, but I wont. People lock servers for all sorts of reasons - eg tournament games, and sometimes they end up being 3 on 2. Or 2 on 2 or might even be for 1 on 1.

.... :o

Could you make it to where 2/3 of the people in the server have to agree before someone can turn it on?

Heh, I really want this!

Hi -z-, I've copied and pasted everything correctly, I can mod in some servers, but never my own, is there something to add to the.mis file?

Monday, June 21, 2004 at 3:54:18 PM
