I got an e-mail from 56k Lag Man that Garage Games has just released a Universal Binary version of ThinkTanks. I tested it out on an Intel Mac Book Pro (OS 10.4.7) and it works like a champ!!

The new version of TT is available at http://www.garagegames.com/myAccount . All you do is log into the "my garage" area and you can download the new version.

Yeehaw! Now I can play TT on the road again! Thanks BT & GG for fixing this!

Hooray!

Back a few months ago when I fired up TT and found the sound broken, I thought about doing that fix, but it worried me so I didn't. Then when I fired up TT and it just totally crashed, I was all ready to just hang up the game and praise it for fun times during nostalgia sessions with friends.

I'm glad I checked in here and saw they actually made a universal binary update and fixed the sound issues! I love developers and companies that take the time to do things like that. Hopefully they will come out with further cool games for my Mac so I can continue to support them!

Sorry, can't be done. You have to log in to get it.

Try going to where you bought TT and see if they have the update.

OK. First, go to GarageGames and log in as yourself. If you don't have an account, never mind. You haven't bought ThinkTanks from GG, and the rest won't help.

Next, once you are logged in, you should see a screen like this:

Click on the link that says "DOWNLOAD" (Notice that the table the link is in says "Downloadable products you own" If you don't own it, go buy it.

That should bring you to a screen like this one:

Click on the link that says "THINKTANKS" and your download should begin.

Great, I did that, so I guss I have the new version. The My Garage thing threw me off. One reason I thought I didn't have the right version, is that I tried loading the new modwizard, and it won't work, plus the old modwiz now freezes on me. Any suggestions as to why this is happening, since it apparently isn't a TT version issue.

Thanks!

Oh, I should add here that I tried both modwiz verions independent of the other one, with old files and code lines deleted, so it's not a conflict issue.
